WAWSL Field Fund

Beginning in the Fall of 2005, the Washington Area Women's Soccer League established a field fund. The purpose of this fund is to accumulate the resources necessary to invest in better fields for the league. As the competition for fields increases, the few fields available to the league are poorly maintained and inconveniently located. The lack of fields also threatens to stunt the league's ability to continue developing women's soccer in the DC Metropolitan area. By creating this fund we are investing in the league's future and in women's soccer. When the fund matures, it will be used to invest in field renovation and development opportunities.
